Joined Richardsons Funeral Directors in 2010 after a life long wish to be a Funeral Director and has been the manager of the Funeral Department since December 2014. Her previous employment was in the care of the elderly, where she achieved the position of assistant manager of a Housing with Care Scheme. Sue is married and lives in Langwathby. To date, she is the only female Funeral Director in the Eden Valley. 

Joined the Funeral Department in 2010 having previously been manager of the Joinery Department of John Richardsons Timber Merchants for 20 years. Alistair is married and lives in Penrith.

Joined Richardsons Funeral Directors in 2023 having previously worked in hospitality management. Martyn lives in penrith.

Has been employed in the firm as a part time bearer / driver since 1998. He was previously employed as a British Telecom Manager. He is married and lives in Penrith.

Has been employed in the firm as a part time bearer / driver since 2001, having previously owned a Milk Retail business in Shap and surrounding District. He is married and lives in Penrith and also served in Penrith as a Special Constable for 18 years.

On leaving school in 1960 he started an apprenticeship with John Richardson and Son as a joiner. He left in 1986 to work for the Local Authority until retirement in 2010 when he then became a part time bearer for the firm. He is married and lives in Penrith.

Has been employed in the firm as a part time bearer / driver since 2016.  Ian has previously been a self employed maintenance man  / gardner.  He is married and lives in Stainton.
