Peacefully, at home, on Thursday 27th August, Judy of Penrith. Beloved wife of the late Tom, much loved mum of  Daren and Nigel, loving mother-in -law of Wendy and Miranda, a cherished grandma and great-grandma. A private Service of Thanksgiving  will be held.

Mallinson

 Peacefully at home, on Friday, 28th August, Geoff of Dacre, Penrith, dearly loved husband of the late Patience, treasured dad of Sandra, Linda, David and Dawn and a devoted grandad to 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He will always be with us and forever in our hearts. Aged 86 years. A Service of love and celebration will be held at Eden Valley Crematorium on Friday, 11th September at 2.00pm.  Family flowers only, but, if desired, donations which will go towards the good work of Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland may be left at the Service or sent c/o Richardsons Funeral Directors, Victoria Road, Penrith CA11 8HR.

Suddenly at home, on Saturday 15th August, Amanda (Mandy) of Penrith. Beloved wife of Neil, much loved Mam of Becca and the late Ben, loving sister of Joanne, cherished Daughter of the late Lance and Sue, Aunty, Godmother and friend to many. Aged 56 years. A Service of love and celebration will be held at Eden Valley Crematorium at 11.00am on Thursday 10th September. Family flowers only please. Brownrigg neé Jackson

Following a short illness, at Mary Hewston Hospital, Keswick, on Sunday 16th August, Beatrice Isobel (Bea) of Penrith, previously of Matterdale and Great Strickland. Aged 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Brownrigg, much loved Mum, Mother-in-law, Gran, Baba and Great Gran. At Bea’s request a direct cremation will take place.

Watson

Peacefully, at home, surrounded by the love of his family, Alan of Threlkeld. Beloved husband of Isabell, much loved Dad of Gary, Kenny, Sara, and the late Lee, loving father-in-law of Katie, Emma, Phil and Louise, cherished Grandad of Billie, Layla, Maddy, Zach and Martha, and a much-loved brother, uncle, and a friend to many. A Service of love and celebration will be held at Eden Valley Crematorium at 12.30pm on Wednesday 26th August followed by refreshments at Keswick Rugby Club. Please wear what you are comfortable in, but please no Liverpool FC attire as per Alan’s wishes. Jean,Peacefully, at home in Tirril. Beloved wife of the late Jack, a much-loved Mum to Joanne and Sara, loving Mother-In-Law of Bill and Bob, fun loving Grandma to Adam, Matthew and James, cherished Great-Grandma of Sophie, Jack, William, Dougie and Amelia, a beloved sister to the late Jim and Barbara, Auntie, and a friend to many. A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at St Michael’s Church, Barton at 11.30am on Wednesday 19th August. Family flowers only please, but donations if wished will go towards the work of Patterdale Mountain Rescue, a cause close to Jean’s heart, and St Michael’s Church, Barton.
