Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Thursday, 10^th April, Helen of Penrith, beloved daughter of the late Charlie and Ethel, dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Stephen and Jane and a proud and devoted auntie of Emma and Jess. Aged 75 years. Service at St. Catherine's Church, Penrith on Friday, 25^th April at 10.00 am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Peacefully, on Thursday, 3^rd April, Gordon Richard, (former council chairman and farmer of Calthwaite and Hesket Newmarket), beloved husband of Dorothy, much loved dad of Jane, Caroline and Angela, and a sadly missed father-in-law, grandad, great grandad, uncle, brother-in-law and a good friend to many. Aged 89 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Friday, 25^th April at 12.30pm. Aged 73 years. Service at St. Peter's Church, Langwathby on Monday, 7^th April at 2.00 pm followed by interment at Langwathby Cemetery.
