Peacefully, at Burnrigg Court Care Home, Carlisle, on Sunday, 26^th April, John Ellwood, of Penrith, dearly loved husband of the late Dorothy, father to Mike and Angela, father-in-law to Tania and Brian, grandfather to Philippa, James, Lucy, Amelia and James and a good friend to many who have departed before him. Aged 97 years. Private funeral at Carlisle Crematorium, on Monday, 11^th May, with a Memorial Celebration at a later date.
