Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, after a short illness, on Saturday, 9^th May, James Kemp (Jimmy), of Dalemain, beloved husband of the late Betty, dearly loved dad and father-in-law of Leonard and Stella, Carole and Steve, a very well respected and much loved grandad to Daniel and Carol, Edward and Louise, Mark and Katie, Kirsty and Mark, and a much loved great-grandad of Leah, Emily, Scarlett, Oscar and Jacob. A very special friend to so many people. Aged 85 years. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Private family cremation to be held at Carlisle Crematorium. Due to the current situation, there will be a memorial service for Jimmy at a later date for all to attend.

Peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Sunday, 10^th May, Ethel (Ray) of Huntley Court, Penrith (formerly of Salkeld Dykes), loving wife of Brian, much loved mother of Colin, David and Sue and a sadly missed mother-in-law, grandma, gran, nana, great-grandma and sister. Aged 83 years. Private graveside service and interment at Penrith Cemetery. Peacefully, at Cockermouth Community Hospital, on Sunday, 10^th May, Kathleen of Plumpton, Penrith, much loved wife of the late Ron, loving mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Jennifer, a beloved grandma of Lyndsey and Elizabeth and great-grandma of Oliver. Aged 89 years. Graveside Service at St. John the Evangelist Church, Plumpton on Tuesday, 19^th May at 1.00 pm. Peacefully, at Burnrigg Court Care Home, Carlisle, on Sunday, 26^th April, John Ellwood, of Penrith, dearly loved husband of the late Dorothy, father to Mike and Angela, father-in-law to Tania and Brian, grandfather to Philippa, James, Lucy, Amelia and James and a good friend to many who have departed before him. Aged 97 years. Private funeral at Carlisle Crematorium, on Monday, 11^th May, with a Memorial Celebration at a later date.
