Peacefully, after a long illness, at Kingston Court Care Home, Carlisle, on Wednesday, 13th December, David James of Blencarn, Penrith, much loved brother, of Barbara, Jennifer and Steven and a sadly missed brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Aged 66 years. Service and cremation at Eden Valley Crematorium on Thursday, 21st December at 12.30pm. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Tuesday, 12th December, William (Billy) of Meadow View, Lingstubbs Farm, Penrith, dearly loved husband of Edith, sadly missed dad of Helen and Robert, father-in-law of Joanne, proud granda of Matthew, Elsie and Millie, much loved brother of Mary and John, a dear brother-in-law and uncle aged 81 years. Service at Church in the Barn on Wednesday, 20th December at 12.00 noon followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Eleanor Handyside (Ellie) died reluctantly at home on the 27th November dearly loved wife or the late Sonny loving mother of Casey, Dick and Mag. Mother-in-law to Kath and Lou, a special Grandma and Great-Grandma who will be sadly missed Aged 92 years. Service at St Kentigern's Church, Castle Sowerby on Wednesday 20th December at 10:30am.
