Peacefully, at home, on Saturday, 24^th September, after a good life and a valiant battle to the end, Rosemary of Penrith, beloved wife of Vic, adored mum and mother-in-law of Rosie, Mike, Richard, Michael, Debbie and Louise and a good friend to many. Aged 85 years. Service at St. Andrew's Church, Penrith on Thursday, 6^th October at 11.00 am followed by private cremation. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Sunday, 25^th September, Joyce of Hill Top Farm, Gamblesby, (latterly of Croft Avenue Care Home, Penrith) beloved wife of the late Norman, dearly loved mum of Claire and Janice and a much loved mother-in-law, nana and great-nana. Aged 93 years. Service at Gamblesby Methodist Church on Tuesday, 4^th October at 1.30 pm followed by interment at St. Michael's Churchyard, Addingham. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Friday, 16^th September, Jean of Shap, Penrith, beloved wife of the late Jimmy, much loved mother of Mike, Caroline, Peter and Yvonne, a dearly loved grandma, great-grandma and great-great-grandma. Peacefully, at home, after a short illness on Thursday, 8^th September Jane-Louise (Lou) of Penrith (formerly of Keswick and Borrowdale) beloved wife of the late Peter, a dearly loved mum of four sons, gran of four and a dear sister, aunty and friend to many. Sadly, after a short illness, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Monday,12^th September, David of Penrith, beloved husband of the late Moria, much loved dad of Mark and Michael, dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Pat, Mike, Andrew and Loraine and a loving uncle. Aged 72 years. Service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Wednesday, 28^th September at 11.40 am. John Suitor.  Peacefully at home on Thursday 8 September aged 98 years. A man devoted to his family, wife Bunty, children Michael and Jane, Grandchildren. A much loved and widely respected member of the Community. Private family service at Eden Valley Crematorium followed by a Service in celebration of his life at St Nicholas Church Lazonby at 1.00pm on Monday, 26^th September.
