Peacefully, after a short illness, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Sunday, 4^th September, Charlie of Melmerby, Penrith, beloved husband of the late Muriel, much loved dad of Jackie and Jo, granda of Charles, Jordan, Josh and Lewis, bobo cuckoo to Freddie and Alfie. Aged 83 years. Service and interment at St. John the Baptist Church, Melmerby, Penrith on Tuesday, 20^th September at 2.00 pm. Suddenly, on Saturday, 20^th August, Mark of Alder Road, Penrith, loving partner of forty years of Elaine, much loved and sadly missed brother of Julian, brother-in-law of Susan and uncle of Michael and Dawn. Julia, of Melmerby, Penrith, passed away suddenly at home, on Thursday 18^th August, aged 69 years. Devoted and much loved mum of Ed. Service at St. John the Baptist Church, Melmerby, on Friday, 9th September at 1.30pm. Peacefully, at Croft Avenue Care Home, Penrith, on Wednesday, 17th August, Doreen (formerly of Winskill, Penrith), beloved wife of the late David, loving mam of Keith and the late Susan, mother-in-law of Christine, a much loved grandma of Kevin and Mark. Aged 86 years. Service at St. Peter’s Church, Langwathby on Wednesday, 31^st August at 11.00am followed by interment at Langwathby Cemetery.
