Peacefully, at home, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, 7^th March, Joyce of Eamont Bridge, Penrith, beloved wife of the late Doug, dearly loved mum of David, Peter and Alison, and a much loved grandma/jam jar. Aged 88 years. Private Service at St. Andrew's Church, Penrith on Monday, 22^nd March at 11.00 am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. Derek passed away, suddenly on Wednesday, 3^rd March and is now at peace. Much loved son of Ellenor and David, stepson of the late Richard, brother of Andrew, uncle, nephew and cousin. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Aged 42 years. Unexpectedly, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Saturday, 27^th February, Lol of Old Mill Flatt, Newby, Penrith, dearly loved husband of Marjorie, a sadly missed and much-loved father, father-in-law, grandad, brother, uncle and friend to many. Aged 75 years. Private Service and interment at St. Lawrence's Church, Morland on Monday, 15^th March at 2.00 pm. For those wishing to pay their respects the cortège will leave Old Mill Flatt at 1.30 pm travelling through Newby onto Morland. Unexpectedly, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Thursday, 18^th February, George of Pennyhill Park, Penrith, beloved husband of Ruth, much loved dad of Ian, Tracy and David, adored pop of Tara, Mia, Callum, Emily, Zuzanna and Kai, a dear father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Aged 70 years. For those wishing to pay their respects the cortege will leave Pennyhill Park at 1. 15 pm for a Private Service at St. Andrew's Church, Penrith on Wednesday, 10^th March at 1.30 pm. Following the Service the cortege will travel from St. Andrew’s Church into Friargate, along Brentfield Way, Brent Road, Fell Lane onto Beacon Edge enroute to Carlisle Crematorium. Aged 79 Years. Private Service at Penrith Methodist Church, on Monday, 8^th March at 2.00 pm followed by cremation at Carlisle Crematorium.
