Peacefully, after a short illness, bravely borne, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, on Wednesday, 26th May, Arthur of Penrith, dearly loved husband of Margaret, much loved dad of Jacqueline and Janice , stepdad of Colin, Stuart and Graham and a loving grandad.  Aged 86 years. Private Service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Thursday, 3rd June at 11.40 am. Maughan

Peacefully, at Penrith Hospital on Wednesday, 19th May, Lena of Glasson Court, Penrith, beloved wife of the late John, dearly loved mother of Colin and Jen, mother-in-law of Jane and Dickie, proud grandma of Frankie and Lauren and her fiancé Dan and a sadly missed sister and aunt. Aged 93 Years. Service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium on Thursday, 27th May at 12.20pm. Thompson

Suddenly and peacefully at home, surrounded by love, on Monday, 10th May, Keir Jake (KJ) of Fairhill Road, Penrith, beloved son of Paula, special brother of Amy-Ann and Deza, uncle of Arabella, grandson of John and the late Valda. Aged 20 years. A Cystic Fibrosis warrior, who showed courage to the very end. Service at Christ Church, Penrith on Friday, 21st May at 11.30am followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. The service will be relayed outside the church, and Keir’s friends are most welcome to attend. Please respect social distancing rules at all times. For those who wish to pay their respects the cortege will leave the family home at 11.15am, heading down Salkeld Road, on to Scotland Road. Peacefully, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Monday, 3rd May, Eunice of Pategill Road, Penrith (former receptionist at Frame, Swift and Partners Vets). Beloved wife of David, and a much loved mother of John. Aged 76 years. Private service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium. Peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday,28th April, Geoff of Otters Holt, Culgaith (Formerly of J. Cowpers Chemist, Penrith) beloved husband of Linda, much loved dad of Ian and Graham and a sadly missed stepdad, father-in-law, grandpa and brother. Aged 66 years. Private Service at St. Andrew’s Church, Penrith on Thursday, 6th May at 1.30pm followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. For those who wish to pay their respects the cortege will leave the family home at 1.00pm, passing J. Cowpers Chemist enroute to church.
