Sadly, at the Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle on Friday, 19^th March, Ernest (Ernie) of Wordsworth Street, Penrith, dearly loved husband of Ann, much loved dad of Hazel and David, and a sadly missed brother and father-in-law of Jo. Aged 83 years. Private service at St. Andrew’s Church, Penrith on Tuesday, 30^th March at 12.00noon, followed by interment at Penrith Cemetery. For those wishing to pay their respects, the funeral cortege will leave the family home at Wordsworth Street at 11.45am, heading towards Middlegate, along Portland Place, through the town Centre. Peacefully, at Blackwell Vale Nursing Home, Carlisle on Sunday, 14th March, John (formerly of Raiselands Croft, Penrith) beloved husband of the late Mary, a much loved brother of Barbara and the late Phoebe and a sadly missed uncle. Aged 85 years. Private Service and cremation at Carlisle Crematorium. Peacefully, at home, after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday, 7^th March, Joyce of Eamont Bridge, Penrith, beloved wife of the late Doug, dearly loved mum of David, Peter and Alison, and a much loved grandma/jam jar. Derek passed away, suddenly on Wednesday, 3^rd March and is now at peace. Much loved son of Ellenor and David, stepson of the late Richard, brother of Andrew, uncle, nephew and cousin.
